What are Conditional Sentence?

Conditional sentences are statements expressing known factor or hypothetical situations and their consequences. All conditional sentences contain the main part and the conditional part. 

Conditions and suppositions mostly, though not necessarily, expressed by what are known as conditional sentence. 

The following terms are used to introduce conditional sentence:-

  • If even if, unless, in case, in the event, provided, provided that, as, as long as, on condition that, suppose, supposing that, whether or.
  • Many kinds of conditional sentences have been explained methodically with minute details and examples.
